Security has been given the highest consideration at King David Apartments. A security fence surrounds the two blocks of apartments and access is only through front gates controlled by key pad for pedestrians and electronic tags for cars. Each apartment has an intercom connection to allow entry for guests. CCTV operates to provide additional security.

The following security measures have also been taken:

  • The front door of each apartment is fitted with a five lever mortise deadlock conforming to BS EN 12209.
  • Each apartment is installed with a mains wired interlinked fire detection system which complies with BS 5839.
  • Kitchenettes are all fitted with a fire blanket manufactured to BS EN3:1996 and one 2Kg dry powder or carbon dioxide fire extinguisher.
